No apologies! We’ve been having to much fun.

Z Trackers is moving along. Episode 1 has all the video parts put together. After a couple tweaks are made one evening this week (life permitting) Jimmy will be handing it off to Wain Bradley the master of audio. Yes patience is a virtue but I can’t wait to see it all put together. Episode 2 of Z Trackers is in the can waiting for it’s turn in the editing process. We have all the video and effects so it’s turnaround should be quicker.

Several people are taking up the challenge of writing scripts for the Z Trackers. If you would like to write an episode, hit Jimmy or me up for some back story. One of the goals for Z Trackers is to give people opportunity to practice their craft. This includes cast and crew members. Let us know if you want to help in a production capacity and we’ll let you know when we are shooting.

There are a ton of small projects going on in Arkansas. We got to help out on two of them so far this year. They were Yellow by the Heads or Tails Productions and Twinkletown by Clever Alibi Productions.

We are looking for locations. We have a short script that calls for a warehouse that a scientist uses for his laboratory and we need an outside location that looks like it would belong in Steampunk land. Maybe an old steam engine train and station or a place with gas lights. Hook us up if you have access to a location that might fit the bill.

Several Standard Zombies –  We’ll be blowing zombies up, bashing in their brains, etc.
We need all body types and all ages, but primarily (at least for now) adults.
These Zombies will appear less often and will most likely meet with a grotesque demise.
If you’re willing, we may use you more than once.

We will have a make up person on-hand, but would appreciate any “zombie-wear” you may have, since we don’t have a Wardrobe dept.

As of now, this is a “no budget” project. We all know what that means.
Eventually, however, we hope to get paid for all this fun.

This is being done to:
a) Provide the opportunity for those who missed the premiere to see Tuckerman.
b) Provide the opportunity to see The Devil Lives in Hot Springs and participate in the Devil Lives in Hot Springs F-Bomb Drinking Game.
c) To discuss upcoming projects.
d) And most importantly, to donate funds to a beautiful soul, Ms. Jordan Griffin (www.DonateToJordan.com).

Tuckerman will screen at 7:00 PM. The Q&A/discussion will start around 8:30. And the Devil will screen at 9:00.
The awesome folks at Market Street Cinema are helping us put this on. Located at 1521 Merrill Drive, West Little Rock, AR.

We encourage everyone who’s interested in independent film making to attend. We’ve got a few different projects on the horizon and we’re going to need some help (cast, crew, etc.).
It’s sure to be a fun evening, with friends hanging out talking about movie stuff.

We kicked off with a reception at Copeland’s. It was great seeing all the cast and crew again. I got a ton of hugs. The people at Copeland’s set us up with a nice spread. The atmosphere was exhilarating enough that I don’t think anyone even thought to take pictures. I sure didn’t.

Then we loaded up in limousines and headed to the theater. The ride was just a few minutes but there was plenty of time to hit the champagne and enjoy the experience.

The red carpet gala was awesome. When the limo door opened and I got a good view of the people, the red carpet and that gigantic banner, all I could say was “Wow”. As my feet hit the red carpet and the paparazzi flashes blinded me I temporarily forgot that I was the person who instigated this affair. Leaving the red carpet I saw the next limo pull up. It was a very fulfilling experience to watch everybody make their very first red carpet walk.

The movie was excellent! Told an excellent story written by Jett West, had excellent performances by excellent actors with excellent attitudes, and was put together by an excellent production crew. More details about the Tuckerman movie are at http://www.tuckermanmovie.com

World Premiere of the film TUCKERMAN

Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Rave Motion Pictures, located at 18 Colonel Glenn Plaza in Little Rock, AR.

The actors will begin their arrival to the red carpet gala at 7:00 PM and the film will start as soon as they have been seated (approximately 8:15 PM).

Immediately following the film will be a brief Q & A with the filmmakers and photo opportunities with the cast.

It’s been a while, I know, but let me take the opportunity to thank each and every one of you for the time and effort and patience that it took to make this movie.There are a lot of film projects that have been taking place in Central Arkansas over the last year or so, but very, very few of them are feature length movies.You definitely have something to be proud of.

Can’t wait til everyone gets a chance to see it!!!!

There was a lull in editing since everyone has a day job, but now we’re back on track and moving strong.  We’re not sure when this movie will be done, but it shall be awesome!

I thought I would let everybody know that as of tonight, Feb. 21st, we have officially wrapped on principle photography for Tuckerman.

It was another long day with a complete re-write for one of the scenes.

When you have one cast member fall ill and can turn around and set up a completely different scene with a completely different feel, in a matter of a couple of hours, well, that’s independent filmmaking, and I’d like to say thanks, again, to Shelia for being so willing and flexible (pun intended, Shelia).

And thanks again to all of you.  Never think your help in this project goes unappreciated.

Now we move on to a few guys setting in their dark offices or bedrooms putting our movie together.

It’ll take a bit, but I will keep you informed.  If you start to get curious on how it’s going though, feel free to let me know.

Kevin and Kat are really good people. We hung out and visited for a long time. Gerry Bruno stopped by for a while and we got to talk with him too. You know, the creative community has a lot of really kool people in it.

Next week Kelly Griffin will be on the Arkansas Talent Conversations. Kelly is an amazing guy. He’s an accomplished musician (Wishtribe Ya!), web, graphics, fx, video, well you name it. He has helped on both The Devil and Tuckerman. I’m looking forward to listening to his interview. I’m sure it will be an interesting podcast that you don’t want to miss.

Changed the trailer on the The devil lives in Hot Springs website again. A couple of weeks ago I thought that maybe using a video from YouTube might be better, but it was not. Now we have one of the old ones back up there.
